Taylon is from the USA and recently completed an MSc in Environmental Change and Management at St Catherine's College, Oxford.

Prior to his time at Oxford, Taylon was in Texas where he graduated magna cum laude from Prairie View A&M University with a BSc in Chemical Engineering. Throughout his academic journey, Taylon has gained valuable experience through internships at prominent organisations such as LyondellBasell, Chevron, the United States Department of Energy, and SCS Consulting Services. Taylon's interests revolve around utilising his technical knowledge to address the pressing environmental challenges that the world currently faces. Specifically, he aims to explore the intricate relationship between energy, environmental justice, and policy. By combining his academic background in engineering with a focus on environmental studies, he intends to contribute to the resolution of this paradoxical relationship by developing effective and sustainable policy solutions.
