Leonardo is a Chilean lawyer with a Master's in Public Law and experience in administrative and environmental law. His career has focused on environmental regulation compliance in the private and public sectors.
Leonardo currently works in the Superintendence of the Environment, the administrative agency that oversees environmental regulation and sanctions its breaches. His interests relate to the question of how environmental policy and regulation can help to face the global threats imposed by climate change and how the government can efficiently enforce those policies. Coming from a developing country already suffering from climate change's effects, Leonardo is specifically interested in the implementation of climate adaptation policies.
