Giovani Rocha is an economist graduated from Ibmec-RJ, holds a Master's degree in Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EBAPE/FGV), and is currently pursuing a Dual PhD in Political Science and Africana Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on the implementation of anti-racist policies in Brazilian states and municipalities. He is the co-founder of Mahin Consultoria Antirracista, an organization dedicated to strengthening the promotion of ethnic-racial equity among government and third-sector leaderships. With over 15 years of experience in education, he has worked at SEDUC-PA and the Ministry of Education (MEC), as well as served as a consultant for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the World Bank. He is a member of the Vetor Brasil network, the Lemann Foundation, and the Fundação Estudar, and has been a TEDx speaker twice.
