biography

David Legg is the Research Administrator on the School’s research support team.

David leads the facilitation of internal University funding applications and assists the Research Facilitator in the preparation of grant applications to external funders. David also supports the financial management of awarded grants, including contracting, recruitment, amendments and reporting.

David was previously Programmes Officer (Teaching Support) on the programmes team, where he provided administrative support in delivery of teaching on the Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree programme. In this role, David led on the implementation of systems and applications that support MPP teaching, including the Guidebook timetabling app, ORLO and Canvas.

Before joining the University, David was a caseworker for the Crown Prosecution Service and the Employment Tribunals Service. He holds a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Oxford and an MA in Medieval Studies from the University of York.
