Chhavi is the co-founder and Chief Design Officer (CDO) of Saturday Art Class (SArc), a non-profit dedicated to integrating arts and social-emotional learning (SEL) into mainstream public education for children from underserved communities in India. An architect by training, Chhavi co-founded SArC in her final year of college. As CDO she built a team that developed a visual-arts and SEL curriculum for children, established over 100 strategic partnerships with educational institutions nationwide and trained over 7000 teachers in creative visual-arts and SEL facilitation. These efforts impacted 1,78,000 children on ground in India and 1 million children globally through digital resources.
Chhavi has fundraised to scale SArC's impact. She is an Arts for Good fellow with the Singapore International Foundation. On the MPP Chhavi aims to gain a transnational understanding of access, equity, and justice to contribute to global inclusive education policies.
