Andrónico Luksic was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Quiñenco in April 2013. Mr. Luksic is also the President of the Boards of Directors of LQ Inversiones Financieras S.A. and Compañía Cervecerías Unidas S.A. He was reelected as Director and Vice-president of the Board of Directors of Banco de Chile in 2016, a position that he has held since 2002. He is also Vice-president of Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores S.A. and a member of the Board of Directors of many companies and institutions, including Antofagasta plc, Antofagasta Minerals, Nexans S.A. and Invexans S.A.

In addition to his corporate roles, Mr. Luksic is a founding member of the Advisory Board of the Panama Canal Authority and a member of the International Advisory Council of the Brookings Institution, the Chairman’s International Advisory Council of the Americas Society/Council of the Americas, the International Business Leaders’ Advisory Council for the Mayor of Shanghai, and the International Advisory Council of the China Investment Corporation.

Mr. Luksic is also a founding member of the Harvard Global Advisory Council and the Columbia University World Projects Advisory Council. He is a member of the Harvard Business School Latin America Advisory Board, the Dean’s Council of the Harvard Kennedy School, the Harvard University David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies’ Advisory Committee, the Latin American Executive Board of the MIT Sloan School of Management, the International Advisory Board of the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford, and the International Advisory Boards of Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management and the Fudan University School of Management.

Mr. Luksic attended Babson College in the U.S.A. where he is an Emeritus member of the Board of Trustees.
