Join us for a lecture on the future of oil politics with Visiting Professor Michael L. Ross.

Michael L. RossFor a century, the petroleum trade has subsidized tyrants, funded wars and revolutions, and redistributed global wealth and poverty. But the future of oil politics will not look like the past: the industry must cope with climate change, transparency laws, and the danger of stranded assets. Ross, one of the foremost scholars of the political economy of natural resources, will discuss the roots of these challenges and what the social sciences can tell us about the turbulent future of global oil politics.

This talk is free and open to all. To attend, please register here.

The event will be streamed live and recorded on the Blavatnik School of Government YouTube channel.
