Zhaomin Zhang

Visiting Scholar 2019-2020

Zhaomin Zhang is now an Associate Research Fellow in the Philosophy Institute at the Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences. He received his PhD degree in Marxist Philosophy from Peking University in 2014. His research field is Marxist political philosophy, especially focusing on the issue of viewing ‘equality’ as the value dimension of Marxist political philosophy. In this field, Zhaomin has published a book, Research on Marx’s thought of distributive justice, and a series of published papers, such as ‘Transcendence of abstract equality principle', with a speech presented at an academic conference on this specific issue, and 'Cohen’s criticism to Nozick's defense on socialism's equal distribution principle'.
