I am from Bangkok, Thailand, where my passion in politics and freedom of expression on the internet has led me to a career path that spans the media industry, the non-profit sector and the government sector. I worked as a journalist at The Nation, Thailand’s leading English-language newspaper, a Programme Associate at the Asian Forum of Parliamentarians on Population and Development (AFPPD), a coordinating body of 29 national legislators’ groups in Asia and the Pacific, and a Political Analyst at British Embassy Bangkok. I obtained a B.A. in Political Science (International Relations) from Chulalongkorn University in 2001 and, on a Japanese Government Scholarship, an M.A.S. in Interdisciplinary Information Studies (Information, Technology, and Society in Asia) from the University of Tokyo in 2010.
