Paola Del Carpio
I am an economist from Universidad del Pacifico (Lima, Peru). I am strongly committed to working for social development in Peru, which is why I decided to attend the MPP at BSG. My professional experience prior to the MPP has mainly been as a Senior Consultant at the Public Management division of APOYO Consultoria (Peruvian consultancy firm). My work involved managing projects and teams regarding a variety of subjets, such as qualitative and process evaluation of social programmes, decentralisation, modernisation, competitiveness, administrative simplification, regulation inside government, among others. Furthermore, I am a lyrical soprano and former violinist, and have participated as a collaborator of the Peruvian National Choir as a singer in different Opera Seasons. Thus, my main interests include social development, public management, cultural policy, and the use of music as a tool for development projects.
