Leonor Selva Flores
I am a Salvadorean with a BA in Law. I’ve worked as manager for a regional project to develop a common framework of Competition Policy for Central America and as political analyst for the U.S. Embassy in San Salvador (covering political parties, political events, human rights, and public security, international and bilateral relations, among others). Currently, I’m a Judicial Assistant for the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice in my country. My professional experience has focused on issues regarding political systems, rule of law, and combating corruption. My main public policy interests revolve around the impact of rule of law on development, a human rights perspective to public policy and public security. I also have a keen interest in gender issues. I’m part of the Youth Editorial Council for the 2nd largest newspaper in El Salvador and editorialist for digital newspaper El Faro. Dog lover, yogi and runner.
