Lama Khaiyat is a Saudi Master candidate at The University of Oxford and at St Anne's College. Lama is also Vice President of Oxford Women in Politics. As a master of Public Policy student, Lama focuses on socio-economic development and has a special interest in inclusive economic growth.
Prior to joining the Blavatnik School of Government, Lama worked as a Strategy Consultant in the Middle East and North Africa, serving both the private and the public sectors. During her undergraduate studies, she obtained a degree in International Business and Finance from Grenoble École de Management in France, and also attended the International Organizations program at The University of Fribourg in Switzerland.
Lama aims at reducing the access gap for people with physical disabilities through cultural advocacy and intersectional policy making. Lama believes that every sector can contribute tremendously to global development and she looks forward to a future as both a businesswoman and a catalyst in public policy.
