Hannah Claire Mayer

British

Prior to joining the MPP programme, I worked as a civil servant for five years at the UK Department for International Development (DFID), most recently as Deputy Head of DFID's programme in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Before that I was deployed to Sierra Leone during the Ebola crisis as Chief of Staff on the UK's Ebola Response. I also formerly worked as a Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for International Development, covering a portfolio of Africa and women and girls, and as a policy officer on global food security. I have a degree in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University and completed a year of graduate studies at Yale University under the auspices of a Henry Fellowship. My policy interests are in international development and foreign diplomacy.
