Emily Burke

Australian

My interests are in politics, human rights and law. I completed my Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws at the University of New South Wales, Australia, and afterwards worked as the associate to Chief Justice French AC at the High Court of Australia. Before that, I interned at a law firm that specialises in advising Australian Indigenous land owners on land, cultural heritage and environmental law issues. I have also served as a national committee member of a non-government organisation that addresses mental health issues in the Australian legal profession. I am joining the BSG after completing the Bachelor of Civil Law at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar.
