Emanuela Ceva is Associate Professor of Political Philosophy at the University of Pavia and, from August 2019, Professor of Theories of Justice & Democracy at the University of Geneva. She has held several visiting positions including at the universities of Oxford, Princeton, Harvard, St Andrews, Montréal, Leuven, and Hamburg.
In 2018, she was awarded a Fulbright Research Scholarship in Philosophy. Her main current research interests concern theories of justice, democracy, and political corruption. Ceva’s recent publications have appeared in the Journal of Political Philosophy, Social Philosophy and Policy, Philosophy Compass, Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, and Ethical Theory and Moral Practice. She is the author of Interactive Justice (New York, 2016) and co-author of Is Whistleblowing a Duty? (Polity 2018).
