Bernardo Andretti is the Data Scientist for the Oxford COVID-19 Government Response Tracker (OxCGRT). 

Bernardo is responsible for creating outputs, engaging with policymakers, and contributing to policy briefs and scientific articles.

Bernardo is a PhD candidate at the Brazilian School of Public and Business Administration at the Getulio Vargas Foundation, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He holds a master's from the same institution. 

Besides his work on COVID-19, he is interested in how social class and poverty shape human behaviours, ranging from food decision-making to discrimination. 

He previously worked at the Center of Excellence and Innovation in Educational Policies, a centre committed to creating educational policy insights for Brazilian public professionals.
