This varied and challenging role offers an exciting opportunity to work as part of an interdisciplinary project team led by Programme Director, Dr Annette Idler.
You will be managed by the Programme Manager and will be the main point of contact for the team’s day-to-day financial and administrative activities, including purchasing, payments and contracting. You will efficiently maintain and process appropriate and accurate logs of finance and administrative documentation. You will adhere to the relevant financial controls. Working with the Programme Manager, you will support the project in organising events including arranging logistics and travel. You will also provide some administrative support to the Programme Director.
The successful candidate will have significant experience working in research administration. You will possess high levels of numeracy and will demonstrate a systematic approach to work. You will be required to adapt your performance to meet the changing needs in the team, and to demonstrate strong problem solving skills. You will need really effective communication and IT skills.
The contract is fixed-term for three years commencing 1 August 2022 (with the possibility of extension).
