Game-changing ideas to restore our planet
The world is reaching the tipping point. We need to repair and regenerate the Earth in the next decade.
The Earthshot Prize works to find and select projects with the greatest potential impact on the environment and support them through a specifically designed acceleration programme and an award of £1 million for each of the five winners. Winners will also be introduced to potential funders and given the networking tools and opportunities they need to scale their ideas and have the greatest possible impact.
The power of human ingenuity
Every year, five winners will be chosen based on their progress towards five ambitious goals for our planet. These goals, known as Earthshots, are designed to improve life for all of us by 2030. Each Earthshot is supported by scientifically agreed targets, including those from UN Sustainable Development Goals and other internationally recognised measures.
