For the past four years, the Challenges of Government Conference (COGC) has brought together leading academics, policymakers, and non-profit leaders to discuss local, national, and global challenges facing governments around the world. The themes have ranged from “Flourishing Cities” last year, to “People, Power, Politics”, “Galvanising Growth” and “The Innovation Imperative” in previous years.

We are currently in the process of refining the theme and title of our fifth COGC, and we already have some ideas that we would like to share. The conference’s thought-provoking discussion will revolve around more effective and responsive public service, transparency and accountability in government, and new methods of innovation in public policy. Like the previous COGCs, this conference will have a strong focus on the audience’s interaction with the speakers, generating an intellectual exchange on current themes of global interest.

The next COGC will take place in our new, beautiful building in Jericho in spring 2016. The new premises are designed to foster interaction and exchange, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to host the School's flagship event in this brand new space.

We will be sharing more information, including dates and speakers, in the coming weeks and months, so we encourage everyone who is interested in taking part to sign up to our newsletter, and keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook.

The next COGC - the first in the new building – is set to be a special one. We hope you will join us!
